Inpatient Medicine Rotation
Inpatient Floor Service
Welcome to the Internal Medicine Inpatient Floor Service. The inpatient rotation of the HFMH Internal Medicine Residency Program is the core of the medicine curriculum. The residents round with two hospitalist services, which focus on providing an academic teaching experience on daily rounds. The faculty attend morning reports, give structured didactic sessions and also lead board review sessions for the residents on a weekly basis. The two groups are AIMS and Great Lakes Medicine, who each provide an excellent and unique learning opportunity for the residents on the inpatient floors. The hospitalists are also dedicated faculty to the internal medicine program and teach residents how to diagnose and manage complex medical cases in the hospital setting.
