Congratulations Jennifer Peltzer-Jones

Jennifer Peltzer-Jones, PsyD, R.N., Assistant Medical Director of Emergency Behavioral Services for Henry Ford Department of Emergency Medicine, was recently honored with a Crisis Services Advocate Award from Hegira Health, Inc., a private non-profit organization that provides specialized mental health and substance abuse treatment programs in Wayne County. Dr. Peltzer-Jones was recognized for her contributions and advocacy on mental health on behalf of residents in Wayne County. Dr. Peltzer-Jones humbly accepted the award but cautioned, “This award is a great honor, but you won’t buy me off with it as I will continue to speak up in order to drive process improvements for all people in psych crises in our communities.”
