Pharmacokinetics Core
The Pharmacokinetics Core at Henry Ford Hospital is run by the Drug Discovery Program. Pharmacokinetics involves the determination of the fate of substances administered externally to a living organism. The Pharmacokinetics Core in Drug Discovery supports preclinical studies by providing specimen processing and tracking, drug level analyses and pharmacokinetic modeling, and assistance in study design and data interpretation.
The major equipment includes:
- 2 Waters Alliance HPLC systems that comprise two Waters 2690 Separations modules
- 2 Waters 2487 Dual Absorbance detectors
- Waters 2996 Photodiode Array Detector
- Waters 474 Scanning Fluorescence detector
- Waters 2420 ELS detector
