Thank you for your interest in our General Surgery Residency Program.

Application Process

Candidates seeking a General Surgery Residency must apply through ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service). Applications are not considered unless accessible through ERAS. Candidate applications meeting the program requirements and selected for an interview are notified via email.

Our audition season runs from July to November/December, with interviews being held in December. You will be notified via email to schedule an interview.

Resident Benefits

Residents receive a yearly stipend to cover the cost of textbooks, a new computer every three years, courses, required program conferences, and a food stipend to use at all Ascension hospitals. Ascension offers a competitive salary.
