Application Requirements

Residency Requirements

Thank you for your interest in our Emergency Medicine Residency Program.

You must apply through ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service). Applications are not considered unless accessible through ERAS. Candidates meeting program requirements and selected for an interview are notified via email.

Resident Benefits

Program trainees are provided with a yearly stipend to cover the cost of textbooks, computer, courses, conferences, and a food stipend to use at all Henry Ford hospitals. Henry Ford offers a competitive salary.

Medical Students

We offer Emergency Medicine rotations in 4-week or monthly blocks at our two locations, Henry Ford Warren Hospital and Madison Heights Campus.

Rotation Locations

Our Warren Campus is a multiple physician Level III Trauma Center with an annual volume of approximately 80,000 patients. Our Madison Heights Campus, located less than five miles away, is a single coverage community emergency department with an annual patient volume of approximately 30,000 patients.
