Why Henry Ford?
Significant hearing loss affects patients of all ages. With nearly 20 doctoral level audiologists at multiple locations, the Henry Ford Division of Audiology is dedicated to helping people with hearing loss improve their quality of life.
Our audiologists have the technical expertise and years of experience required to correctly assess the nature of any hearing problem and recommend the appropriate course of action. We partner with physicians in the Department of Otolaryngology -- Head and Neck Surgery (ENT) and other professionals to help diagnose and treat any medical issues that may be present. We then provide thorough audiology services. Our audiology faculty employs only the best -- this is why we help to train future audiologists. Audiology assessments and rehabilitative services available include:
- Audiometric Testing of Adults and Children
- Auditory Brainstem Testing
- Auditory Processing Disorder Assessment and Treatment
- Balance Function Testing
- Cochlear Implant Screening and Programming
- Fall Prevention Assessment
- Hearing Aid Evaluation and Dispensing
