Jason P Weslosky, DPM

Biographical Statement

 Dr. Jason Weslosky is trained in the most advanced technologies for foot and ankle surgery. He was born and raised in the Metro Detroit area and graduated from Troy Athens High School as a multi-sport athlete, which first piqued his interest in foot and ankle care.  

He attended The University of Michigan – Ann Arbor, where he studied and earned his bachelor's degree in Movement science within the school of Kinesiology. Thereafter, he earned his doctorate from Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. He completed his 3-year Podiatric Surgical and Reconstructive residency at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital, where he served as chief resident. 

He is trained in all aspects and ailments of the foot and ankle ranging from diabetic foot care to lower extremity reconstructive surgery and trauma. His special interests include, minimally invasive forefoot surgery, reconstructive and revision surgery, rearfoot elective surgery, limb salvage, foot and ankle trauma and sports medicine, advanced wound care techniques, and pediatric and elderly podiatric care.

Care Philosophy

"I believe it is critical for the doctor and patient to form a team rich in communication to fully treat and heal the patient. My philosophy is built on a conservative first approach to treatment unless results are not successful. I will offer you treatments that I would offer my family members if they had similar concerns. I promise that if you are not getting better, we will pivot to other treatment options to keep you progressing towards your goals."
