About Me
Biographical Statement
Dr. Vanderziel earned her PhD in epidemiology from Michigan State University. Prior to completing her doctoral program, she received her MS, followed by the completion of a year-long T32-funded fellowship in psychiatric epidemiology. Dr. Vanderziel joined the Center for Health Policy & Health Services Research at Henry Ford Health in April 2023.
Dr. Vanderziel's research interests focus on substance use, particularly cannabis use, during the perinatal period. She has received NIH funding to investigate the relationship between prenatal cannabis use and maternal & neonatal health outcomes. She currently serves as PI or Co-I on several federally funded or foundation grants at Henry Ford Health.
