About Me
Biographical Statement
I was born and raised in Wah Cantt, Pakistan, near Islamabad. After completing medical school in Rawalpindi, I moved to the U.S. in 2018 to pursue an Internal Medicine residency. My experiences in both Pakistan and the U.S. gave me a unique perspective on healthcare and inspired my passion for palliative care. During my third year of residency, I learned the importance of thoughtful resource utilization and developed skills in patient-centered care, effective communication, symptom management, and end-of-life care.
After working as a hospitalist at the University of Kentucky, I completed a fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. Today, I am excited to serve in Hospice and Palliative Care at Henry Ford Health System, where I strive to provide compassionate and individualized care to my patients.
