Marium Mohammed Iqbal, MD

Biographical Statement

Dr. Iqbal grew up in Saudi Arabia where she completed her medical school education. She then pursued a pediatric residency at the University of Texas – Houston, part of the world’s largest medical center. Dr. Iqbal further enhanced her leadership skills in healthcare by serving as chief resident at Hurley Medical Center.

Care Philosophy

“As a pediatrician, I believe in the power of preventative care to ensure comprehensive health outcomes for children, reducing the need for emergency care visits. By focusing on well visits, vaccination, and early intervention, I aim to catch issues early and promote healthy growth and development.”

Research Interests

Dr. Iqbal’s research interests focus on positive parenting methods and prevention of falls and trauma in children.
