Christen K Kemp, NP

Biographical Statement

Christen Kemp has worked for Henry Ford Health in Detroit serving those in need since 2016. Christen is an active member of the Michigan Council of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau International, where she has served in leadership roles. In her free time, she enjoys reading, baking, painting, biking, kayaking and is a dog lover.

Care Philosophy

Christen believes in educating her patients to manage their health safely and effectively at home. She emphasizes patient education regarding medication, disease process and preventative health maintenance.

Research Interests

She has a passion for nursing education and development and has worked to create educational transition programs for nurses and nurse practitioners. Christen has also collaborated on several practice improvement projects.
