About Me
Biographical Statement
I have been in practice for 25 years, serving patients throughout the entire state of Michigan. I have extensive experience in arthroscopic surgery, particularly of the shoulder (more than 15,000 procedures performed) and the hip (more than 4000 procedures performed). My practice is focused on clinical care of the patient, not teaching nor research. As such, I perform all surgical procedures myself.

Care Philosophy
I believe in utilizing all available resources to treat a patient, starting first with non-surgical measures such as injections and physical therapy, and only progressing to surgery when those fail. I utilize a collaborative approach with my patients to individualize their treatment to suit their particular problem, as well as their needs with regards to work/sports/play.
