About Me

Biographical Statement

Dr. Jason Davis is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacement primarily at Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital. His clinical and academic endeavors began with residency training at Henry Ford Hospital followed by fellowship in adult reconstruction at New England Baptist Hospital. After completing his fellowship, Dr. Davis returned to metro Detroit where he is in his second decade of practice.

He remains involved with teaching and research alike, having served as associate residency director of the Henry Ford Hospital/Wayne State University program and as editorial board member for several arthroplasty journals. Dr. Davis continues to pursue original research to advance the quality of patient care including techniques that minimize complications and enhance recovery. As robotic-assisted surgery continues to evolve, his team has some of the most notable experience in the Midwest with this transformative technology. Dr. Davis has performed several thousand robotic-assisted procedures as a primary interest.

Care Philosophy

“My care philosophy centers on what I would want for my own family. Informative discussions while connecting with patients on a personal level helps to plan out nonoperative care or surgical solutions.”

“When it comes to surgery, whether it’s an approach to the hip or the balancing of the knee ligaments, my goal is to do the least invasive surgery with the most accurate results. I look at joint replacement not as the end of the line but rather a new beginning. My goal is to get patients back enjoying activities that suit their lifestyle without restrictions.”
