I have had Dr. Arul as my main provider since 2007 when I moved to Plymouth. She has taken excellent care of myself and my mother. She is thorough and yet efficient. She is highly knowledgeable and a good diagnostician. She is also really caring. She communicates clearly and she treats the whole person. She is always aware of my medical history when she attends to any particular problem. I am so thankful to have her as my main provider. Her assistant is also truly caring and excellent.

Provider experience very poor. This experience is not new but this last visit was the final straw for me. 1) The provider does not listen. She sits In front of the computer and asks questions but then does not wait for or list to the answers. She just enters whatever she thinks she Is hearing without actually listening. 2) The provider Ignored several of the symptoms that I mentioned and wanted to discuss. She dismissed my concerns and focused on what was most Important to her - lecturing and not discussing.

Dr. Arul is knowledgeable and willing to listen. My two biggest issues in the last 10 yrs. have been constipation and lack of sexual appetite. I've really given up even mentioning these issues with doctors over the last 40+ years. Neither has an easy answer, and as far as I see it, there i snot enough time to address the issues and no easy answers. I deal with these issues on my own and in my own way. I don't know what to expect from doctors on these problems, but I cannot be the only woman experiencing them.
