Dr. Davis's medical journey began with induction into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society, followed by residency training at Henry Ford Hospital. He then went on to complete the Otto E. Aufranc Fellowship in Adult Reconstruction at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, one of the nation's leading centers for hip and knee replacement surgery.

After his fellowship, Dr. Davis returned to the Detroit area, where he spent 15 years as a faculty member at Henry Ford Health, primarily based at West Bloomfield Hospital.
