About Me
Dr. Stewart-Bates is originally from northeast Ohio and grew up with five siblings. She studied Classics at Kenyon College and then completed the combined O.D./M.S. program at the Ohio State University College of Optometry. Following graduation, she completed a residency at Gallup Indian Medical Center on the Navajo reservation in western New Mexico. In her free time, she enjoys baking/cooking, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her dog Cleo.
