All of Us Research Program Continues Enrollment

DETROIT – Henry Ford Health System’s mobile health clinic is visiting select Henry Ford OptimEyes eye care locations in October to enroll people in the All of Us Research Program.

Henry Ford leads a consortium in a network of U.S. health care systems and medical centers enrolling people in All of Us Research Program, which is gathering information for 10 years or more on how individual differences in lifestyle, environment and genetics influence a person’s health and disease risk. All of Us seeks to enroll 1 million or more people from across the country and from all backgrounds, regardless of health status.

Henry, the 39-foot mobile health clinic has scheduled stops at five Henry Ford OptimEyes locations across the metro Detroit area, beginning Oct. 1. To enroll, people complete an online survey and submit a blood and urine sample. Once completed, enrollees receive a $25 gift card.

People can stop by Henry in the parking lot at these OptimEyes locations between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Or, select an enrollment time at your convenience.

  • Tuesday, Oct. 8, 22395 Eureka Road, Taylor.
  • Thursday, Oct. 10, 5500 Auto Club Drive, Dearborn.
  • Thursday, Oct. 17, 35184 Central City Parkway, Westland.

Henry Ford is one of two Michigan health systems enrolling people in All of Us, but anyone can register to participate at http://www.henryford.com/joinallofus.
