The Henry Ford Medical Group’s Division of Rheumatology includes 6 faculty and 4 fellows with clinical care offered at 4 locations across southeast Michigan (Detroit, Sterling Heights, Novi, and Taylor). We provide expertise for common and rare rheumatologic diseases:
- Gout
- Myositis
- Rheumatoid Arthritis
- Osteoarthritis
- Scleroderma
- Sjogren’s Syndrome
- Systemic Lupus Erythematosus
- Vasculitis
- IgG4 Related Diseases
Treatments range from biologics and immune-modulator therapies to investigative research medications. Clinical trials are currently available for rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, and vasculitis. Our Infusion Center in Detroit offers prompt access for patients to help improve quality of care.
Since many of our patients have symptoms that cross into other medical specialties, our rheumatologists work closely with primary care physicians and specialists from Endocrinology and Metabolism, Orthopedics, Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Dermatology, among others, to provide comprehensive management.
