On October 1, 2024, Henry Ford Health and Ascension healthcare facilities in Southeast Michigan and the Greater Flint area joined forces to improve health outcomes, access and equity throughout the communities we serve.

The newly expanded Henry Ford Health will bolster innovation, academic medicine, and advanced specialty and complex care while focusing on population health and community initiatives that support our region's most vulnerable populations more than ever. Patients will benefit from more options, with an emphasis on experience and value.

With more than 50,000 team members at over 550 sites across the state – including 13 acute care hospitals – we will expand care access and coordination across the entire healthcare continuum to improve the health and well-being of our communities.
