Taking Care of Your Mental Health

The purpose of Mental Health awareness is to educate the public about mental illnesses, and the 18.1% of Americans who suffer from it. The reality is many individuals with a mental health problem, suffer in silence because of the stigma (negative attitudes and misconceptions) that surround having a mental illness. Learning the facts and how you can help a loved one or yourself seek help can provide the resources that can improve an individual's overall wellbeing and quality of life.
