Are all Ascension providers and locations in Michigan part of Henry Ford Health now?

No, Ascension and Henry Ford are partnering with Ascension’s southeast Michigan and Genesys healthcare facilities.

Can I still see my same provider?

Yes, you can continue to see your existing doctors, make appointments, and visit our facilities as you always have.

What if I want to switch to a Henry Ford or Ascension provider?

You are more than welcome to transition to a doctor or clinic closer to your home or more convenient for you.

Do I need to do anything different for an appointment or a prescription refill?

No, call your provider’s officer as usual.

Can I use a different pharmacy now?

Yes, let your provider know where you would like your prescriptions sent and call the pharmacy to confirm that they accept your insurance.

Are the fax and phone numbers going to change?

No, everything will stay the same for now.

My healthcare facility is Catholic. Will that continue?

Yes, the respected tradition of providing faith-based care will continue. The healthcare facilities included in the joint venture that are currently Catholic will maintain their Catholic identity.
