Simplicity

Simplicity

Simplicity can be described as appreciating the small things in life and placing less priority on material possessions.

A simple lifestyle can have very important health benefits. Here are three advantages of a simplified life:

  1. Reduced Stress and Overwhelm: Simplifying your life often involves decluttering your physical space, and by eliminating unnecessary possessions, commitments, and distractions, you can reduce the overall complexity of your life. This helps minimize stress and feelings of overwhelm. With fewer choices to make and less clutter to manage, your mind feels clearer and more focused, leading to a greater sense of calm.
  2. Increased Time and Energy for What Matters: Simplifying your life allows you to identify and prioritize what truly matters to you. By cutting out the excess, you free up time and energy that can be redirected towards activities, relationships, and pursuits that bring you genuine joy and fulfillment.
  3. Enhanced Physical and Mental Health: The constant demands of a busy and cluttered lifestyle can take a toll on both your physical and mental well-being. When you have the time and space to reflect, you may find it easier to manage stress, cope with challenges, and maintain a positive outlook on life.

If getting rid of cutter and simplifying your schedule can reduce stress, then it’s definitely worth trying!

One Suitcase

Imagine you are going on a vacation for one year and you only have one suitcase to use. That suitcase needs to fit everything you will need for the entire year. What will you put in there?

Draw a picture and / or journal about your one suitcase and what are the most important items to pack.
