Botox and many other new fillers options are treatments that can be performed while in the doctor’s office.

What should I expect?

These products are placed by injection and result in a more youthful appearance by reversing fine lines, deep creases, and wrinkles of the forehead and around the eyes, nose, and mouth, or restoring volume in the face with little or no recovery time. Botox and dermal fillers can also be used in conjunction with the Obagi skin care line for enhanced results.

What is the difference between filler options?

Botox®/Dysport®/Xeomin®

Botox®/Dysport®/Xeomin® are the three botulinum toxins that have been approved by the FDA for cosmetic use.  They are injected into frown lines between the brows and around the eyes to relax the muscles and soften the look of moderate –to-severe frown lines. For people 18-65 years of age, they provide an effect that lasts for many months at a time.

Juvederm

Juvederm is a smooth hyaluronate gel filler used to instantly smooth away wrinkles around the mouth, eyes and nose. It can also be used to plump up the lips. In just one treatment, you’ll get smooth and natural-looking results that can last up to a year.

Radiesse

Radiesse is a volumizing filler that works immediately with instant results. Once injected, Radiesse adds the volume and lift needed to diminish the signs of aging.
It also has the ability to act as a scaffold under the skin, which provides structure and stimulates your own natural collagen to grow. The production of natural collagen continues for several months.

Restylane-L

Restylane is a clear gel formulation made to act like your body's own naturally produced hyaluronic acid, helping to instantly and visibly reduce moderate to severe facial wrinkles or folds by adding volume and fullness to the skin. With Restylane, the effects can last six months or longer.

Perlane

Similar to Restylane, Perlane closely resembles your body’s own hyaluronic acid, helping to restore fullness to facial folds and hollows, and smooth moderate to severe wrinkles. Results are immediate, and over time, the gel attracts and binds to water molecules just below your skin, creating long-lasting results. Although very similar to Restylane, Perlane may be used when larger quantities are needed. Perlane can last six months or longer.

Sculptra

Sculptra is an injected filler improving deep skin folds, indented chin surfaces, hollowed cheeks and sunken eyes restoring your youthful facial contours. Sculptra contains poly-l-lactic acid, which promotes your body’s natural collagen production. Results appear gradually and can last up to two years after three to six treatments have been administered.
Sculptra also rejuvenates the effect of previous facelifts. It can smooth skin depressions in the skin from scars, the upper chest or following liposuction.
