Allergy treatment options

Your Henry Ford allergist can recommend many treatments to help manage your allergies, including tips for how to avoid allergens, nasal sprays to control nasal symptoms of allergies, oral antihistamines, eye drops and allergy shots (also known as allergy desensitization injections). An allergy assessment often begins with a simple skin test to determine what allergens may be causing the symptoms. For those patients who suffer from asthma or an immune disorder, additional assessments may be required.
