Health Screenings
Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital provides blood pressure and cholesterol screenings around the Downriver region every week at various locations
I Promise
This program assists Downriver residents faced with the challenge of cancer. The program provides essential equipment, such as wigs, prostheses, swimsuits and other important items to improve the quality of life
Look Good..Feel Better
A free workshop for cancer patients and survivors on appearance enhancement such as hair styling and make up application
World Medical Relief (WMR)
Prescription assistance for eligible individuals without any type of prescription drug coverage. Eligible participants must complete an application and meet income and other requirements
Downriver Community Clinic
This clinic is designed to help working people without medical insurance get healthy and stay healthy. Patients must be at least 18 years of age and show proof of work without medical insurance
Yes Ma'am
This program provides free mammograms to working uninsured women in the Downriver region. It is offered at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital during the month of October, each year.

If your non-profit organization is based in the Downriver area and needs a guest speaker, please complete the request form below. We will review your request within two weeks and try to match it with a speaker that best meets your needs.

Sponsorship and partnerships
Responding to requests for support and reaching out to proactively address community needs, Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital invests thousands of hours and provides monetary support to community sponsorships and partnerships. Major health awareness and screening events; partnerships with chambers, cities, townships and numerous community service organizations; and additional outreach programs to at risk residents all contribute to improving the health, well-being and quality of life for our community. We welcome requests for partnerships/sponsorships from non-profit organizations whose focus matches our interest in the follow areas: Regional growth and leadership, community and social service organizations, health-related organizations or education and diversity.
