Newly diagnosed?

Contact the cancer team 24/7 by calling (888) 777-4167 or request an appointment online.

Our team of experts will analyze your diagnosis and your needs to create a personalized treatment plan. If you wish to become pregnant later, they will help you determine the best options for fertility preservation. Whenever possible, our surgeons will use the most advanced and minimally invasive surgical options.

Experts and specialists in uterine cancer work together on our tumor board. They carefully evaluate all aspects of your diagnosis, your treatment options, and your recovery plan.

We want you to know that you are not alone. We will support you by providing a special nurse navigator to help you schedule appointments. The nurse navigator will encourage you and explain what you can expect  as you go through treatment and recovery.

Advanced treatment options for uterine (endometrial) cancer

The terms “uterine cancer” and “endometrial cancer” are often used interchangeably, but it’s important to note that the cancer may develop from different tissues of the uterus. You will have the most advanced treatment options and innovative surgical techniques to fight your battle against uterine cancer. Our experts will design a personalized treatment plan that will offer you the best outcome. The treatment plan – based on your cancer diagnosis, your unique health needs, and your concerns – may consist of the following:

Fertility preservation

We provide options to preserve fertility  for women in child-bearing ages. Some of these options are experimental and may be appropriate only for women at certain stages of uterine cancer.

  • Freezing eggs, embryos and ovarian tissue
  • Radiation shielding
  • Medical management of the cancer to preserve the uterus for further pregnancy in select cases

Your uterine (endometrial) cancer team

To tailor your treatment to your unique diagnosis and needs, we treat uterine cancer using the expertise of a multidisciplinary team  approach. Your team will include:

  • Gynecologic oncologists
  • Radiation oncologists
  • Radiologists
  • Nurse navigators
  • Dietitians
  • Psychologists
  • Social workers

Your team will be there for you throughout your treatment for any medical and personal needs that may arise along the way.
