Henry Ford Health’s Virtual Care — through easy-to-use technology — provides several convenient ways to connect you with the healthcare you need. We offer telehealth options for primary care and specialty care that you can access with a computer, tablet or smartphone. Get diagnosis and treatment when you need it — as soon as the same day.

Our virtual care is coordinated through Henry Ford MyChart, our secure patient portal. Once you set up an account, log in to the MyChart webpage on your computer or download and log in to the MyChart app on your mobile device. Then you can schedule or launch one of our virtual healthcare services.

The connection is simple and secure. No more worrying about getting to the doctor’s office when you’re sick, don’t have transportation or can’t leave work.

About this service:

• It’s available 24/7, including holidays.
• You video chat with a Henry Ford doctor for same-day primary care.
• Just connect with your camera-enabled computer, tablet or smartphone, and a Henry Ford Primary Care doctor is waiting to help you with minor conditions like a rash or the flu.
• Select a same-day time slot or get in a virtual line for immediate care.

Scheduled Video Visits

About this service:

• Use this option for routine or follow-up care.
• You can schedule a video appointment with most Henry Ford primary care or specialty care providers.
• Ask your provider if you are a candidate for a Scheduled Video Visit.

E-Visits

About this service:

• Submit your symptoms about specific minor conditions or concerns by answering a series of questions with an online form in MyChart. Receive written instructions, including a prescription or advice.
• When you use an E-Visit to connect with a provider who is already part of your care team, you can expect a response within one business day.
• You can also use an E-Visit to connect with a primary care doctor in the Henry Ford Virtual Primary Care team for a rapid response within two hours.
