Care Philosophy
I believe it is important to discuss and understand each patient’s priorities and goals for their medical care. Once these priorities are understood, my aim is to provide my patients with the best options to achieve their goals and to work together to formulate a plan to optimize their health and well-being.
In close collaboration with investigators from Henry Ford’s Department of Public Health Sciences and scientists at the University of Michigan and University of California San Francisco, our research team over the past two decades has focused on the impact of the microbiome on allergy and asthma risk as part of our Microbes, Allergy, Asthma and Pets program project
Dr Zoratti was also the Detroit site principal investigator for the NIAID-sponsored multicenter Inner City Asthma Consortium between 2009 and 2021. This consortium was formed to complete clinical trials and investigate the mechanistic underpinnings of the high morbidity and mortality from asthma in urban children.
Dr. Zoratti is often included on various regional and national lists of outstanding physicians and has received local and national awards for physician teaching and mentorship.
