Alexandra Heisler, OD

Dr. Alexandra Heisler grew up in Ohio and attended The Ohio State University for her undergraduate studies, graduating with an honors degree in Biology. She then attended the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago and received her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2014. After graduation, Dr. Heisler completed a residency in Primary Eye Care at the Illiana Health Care System in Danville Illinois. She spent several years practicing full scope optometry at different private practices in the Chicagoland and Metro Detroit areas, and now treats patients of all ages at Henry Ford OptimEyes. In her free time, Dr. Heisler enjoys playing tennis, running, learning to play the banjo, and visiting National Parks with her husband.
