Henry Ford Maplegrove Center offers 24-hour residential inpatient care and outpatient services to patients in need of addiction treatment. Led by a team of addiction specialists, our patient-centered approach has been a cornerstone of Maplegrove since our doors opened in 1981. We treat the person, not the addiction, creating a personalized care plan that meets each patient’s unique needs. We treat the whole person – body, mind and spirit.
Our residential (overnight) and outpatient programs help patients and families recognize and navigate the challenges of addiction. Our holistic approach includes a careful review of beliefs, daily routines and personal vulnerabilities. During treatment, patients identify relapse risks, develop recovery skills and commit to a relapse prevention plan suited for their needs. A comprehensive patient evaluation that looks at medical, biological, psychological, past trauma, and social factors is the starting point for all care.
It’s common for patients with addiction to also have depression, anxiety or other mental health symptoms. Effective care requires a plan that addresses both addiction and related mental health conditions. Psychiatric consultations are available to address mental health conditions and review treatment options, which can include medications that are safe for patients in addiction recovery.
Mindfulness is an important part of our residential program. We offer activities like yoga, guided meditation and physical exercise, which promote a healthy connection between the mind and body. We also incorporate art therapy, games, music therapy, and wellness walks into the treatment day. We also have a dedicated therapy dog onsite.
Henry Ford Maplegrove Center offers a wide array of treatment options for adults and teens designed around a patient’s unique needs.
