Pain Management
The Henry Ford Pain Center aims to help patients find relief from unmanageable pain
Unmanageable pain from musculoskeletal conditions, neurological disorders, cancer or other types of diseases may become severe or persist despite treatment and may require specialized pain care.
Led by fellowship-trained pain medicine physicians, the Henry Ford Pain Center provides a multidisciplinary team approach and design for each patient's personalized pain management plan. These plans may include advanced diagnostic tests to determine the cause of pain, and which medications, injections, or therapies are best suited to target the source and help manage and relieve the pain.
Our specialists are experts in the care of patients with intractable and persistent chronic pain. Chronic pain, like other chronic conditions such as diabetes, requires a focus on multiple management techniques to bring the pain under control and to help patients learn how to maximize their function.
