During your chiropractic visit: What to expect
During your initial visit, one of our chiropractors will perform a thorough diagnostic evaluation, taking your detailed medical history and ordering x-rays and other tests as needed, to determine your condition and outline your unique treatment program.
As part of your treatment, you will lie on a table while your chiropractor performs a variety of soft tissue and manipulative techniques and stretches to the affected area. Your chiropractor may also recommend specific exercises and lifestyle modifications to ensure proper posture and sleeping habits. Chiropractic care is meant to be a comfortable procedure with minimal pain. The total treatment time following the initial visit will be approximately 15 minutes.
The number of treatments required is determined by how long your condition has existed, the severity of your condition and your individual healing ability.
